I was just wondering what the difference is between a romantic comedy and an off-beat romantic comedy. What does an off-beat off beat???. Am I making sense or just randomly asking myself pointless questions?? If you can explain it to me i will be your best friend forever...

Yes you are asking a pointless question.
Think 'Off Beat', as in 'Odd', 'Strange', 'Wacky', 'bizarre', 'eccentic'.
I suspect its a musical analogy: off-the-beat, such as not in rythmn, or missing the rythmn, the rythmn, that is, of convention and normality.
Perhaps thats clearer

I started working at a local TV station, and there were 2 richards.
The other one had long hair, and a beard.
He inherited the name "Fuzzy Richard".
I was the younger, (and shorter) Richard, so I got called "Little Rich".
It just stuck, and I like it!

fair enough, that's cool...
hello, im piglet...brat's mate. I too have an amusing yet pointless nickname...
it's because my last name, forfitt, means something to do with a pig...brat's boyfriend, NICK, decided i should be called Piglet...but i dont look like one or so my friends tell me but i think they're just being polite..
no she doesn't look like a piglet, she's very sweet. it's funny how nick gave her her nickname, ha ha ha ha....
bye
